When I reflect on my childhood, many of my fondest memories were spent with my cousins. We would all meet at my Grandma’s little house for holidays and weekend reunions. I think of those days often…the adventures, the trouble we got ourselves into and the journeys to far off lands we all took together in the basement of her home.
Here are some images from this morning’s shoot with a bunch of cousins. ..
After the session, as I was uploading the images to my laptop, I noticed a familiar red truck pulling into the parking lot. It was Jeff and the kids! With a bagel for mom! Yea! I have been missing these guys a lot lately being on the run with work. We had a great time walking the canal and saving wooly-bears from being squished by cyclists and runners. I was fortunate to snap a few of my little ones today.
I took this photo as my sweet number 2 daughter was telling Jeff a very interesting story about a huge alligator who has a thirst for blood. All I have to say is that it would be a perfect Halloween tale. I think she is going to be the writer…
In the baby gallery of my site is a studio image of a beautiful little one sitting on a chair with a basket of apples. One of my favorite year old sessions ever! She had just turned one when I captured that image...and here she is at 2 years old! Such a big girl! So adorable. Just loved the camera. The bonus for me was the fact that everyone was there...big sis, Mom and Dad. I think big sis has a future in front of the camera. =)
Thanks a bunch S. family, it was wonderful to spend the afternoon with you all at the lake! Here are my favorites so far...
This is most definitely the busiest time of the year for me. I love Autumn shoots and these sessions were wonderful. These kid's were so cute and did such a great job!! As promised here are a few images from this weekend. Also a fun shot from one of the 2 weddings photographed this weekend as well (previews from wedding's forthcoming...) Enjoy!
The ladies in red....
OK...one more...on Sunday I had the pleasure of having a local Girl Scout troop over to the studio to work on their camera badge. What an awesome group of young women. I hope they left a little more inspired and see the world a little differently. This is one of the reasons I love what I do. :-)
The newborns have arrived!!! I have had the most wonderful time photographing the most precious newborns these past weeks.
This little guy (2 weeks old), did a great job for his first big photo session! The milk coma worked!
Here you go Ginny and Stefan.....a little peek.
I think Rocky the dog looks a little annoyed.....love this one. :)
